Eric Marsh Foundation X Work Hard, Play Hard
$40.00 USD
We are back with another design; this time directly with my friends over at the Eric Marsh Foundation. As you are probably are well aware, my time in the wildland firefighting realm was a very important chunk of years and I attempt to still contribute to it where I can. Whether its helping with my current Fire Departments hand crew, or if its working alongside these non profits for those in need, helping with events, guiding interested people in the right direction, or sharing my experiences, I feel like its all a way to give back to the opportunity I was given and support these fine folks in a tough world to be a part of!
I was on a fire out of state when the Granite Mountain burn over occurred. My Superintendent at the time was a part of that CISM team and it felt very close to home as my phone blew up from family and friends while people tried to figure out who and where the tragedy occurred. Ever since then, I have been in contact with the survivor, Superintendent Marsh's wife and leader of the pack over at the foundation, Amanda, and various other organizations and folks in the world of hotshotting and line of duty deaths.
Amanda and I have been trying to come up with a way to tag team something to raise a little money for the foundation and we decided a fun shirt would be a good place to start after seeing how well my last shirt did when it came to raising money for the OCFA Handcrew buggy roll over. Amanda and the Eric Marsh Foundation played a major part in contributing money to the fellas during that time as they still continue to recover. So this time I felt it was only right to contribute everything back directly to the foundation where they can decide its best fit as a thank you for supporting me and the guys that last go around. This time 'round will go directly to the foundation to be used as they see fit.
You have the choice between a Pocket tee or a pullover Hoodie both with the same art work printed in yellow and black on Gildan products. When ordered here I am packaging them and shipping them myself out of my personal home. A couple extra fun items might just so happen to fall in the package. Ya never know!
As usual, I greatly appreciate your support on these fun things and I am sure these firefighters or families of, in need, do to.
I bumped up the price a few bucks to cover shipping costs to keep it simple and streamlined. So the price you see if what you pay, and all goes directly to the shirt project and donations over at the Eric Marsh Foundation.
Cheers,
Gregg
